My name is Maureen Copping and for many years I had a market stall at the Old Loom Mill, Hailsham. Then after trading for a number of years I was asked to take my business elsewhere, so I now work from a webpage - www.maureenschoice.co.uk.
I started to sell local history books when an author friend of mine asked me to stock their books, and as I am researching and writing local history myself, I felt the time was right to change over to books. I have now self published a book on Polegate history and working on other titles. The books I now stock are either written by Sussex authors or are about the County of Sussex, including history, railways, geology etc. Not all the books that I sell are on this website, so please contact me for an up to date catalogue of products. I still sell Tea Tree and Aloe Vera Foot preparations. Please contact me for details and prices, firstname.lastname@example.org
Personal callers can visit me at
TRINITY WILLINGDON COMMUNITY MARKET

I also give illustrated talk lectures based on my own historical researches. Please contact me for details of current projects. Price lists are available; please contact me for a copy. I also source out of print books for a small fee. I now have a mail order service, postage and packing will be added to your order, please ask for a quotation as the new postage rates including size and weight can vary. Email email@example.com Home made greetings cards available, please ask for designs etc.
I am one of the founder members of POLEGATE AND WILLINGDON LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY, [started in 2003 with June Broady], I am now its Archivist . Our meetings are held at St Johns Church Hall, High Street, Polegate, BN26, doors opening at 6.45pm. The meeting starts at 7pm and finishes at 9 pm. We have a break in between for a raffle, tea and chat, and a chance to visit the bookstall and view some of the books on this website. Most of our meetings are on the third Friday of the month, apart from a few that have been altered to the second Friday as the hall is unavailable. Visitors and researchers welcome.

CHATTERBOX RECORDING CLUB
This club was formed in the 1960s by a couple of radio hams, who swapped their microphones to record on tape instead.
Since then the club has come a long way, and now supports emails, as well as using cassette, open reel, mini disc and even writing letters.
Correspondence is on a one to one basis and not an open channel like Facebook. although members do send out photos to each other. We produce a quarterly magazine, Chatterer's World each year as well as a Sound Magazine, which can be received with your annual subscription.
The subscription for 2015 is £12. fror a UK resident, and £23. sterling for overseas membership.
